About Daily Safety Moment
We publish free short talks, guides, and calculators to help people prepare conversations about hazards present at work. Each talk should help the crew identify controls and agree on a concrete action.
Editorial responsibility
Daily Safety Moment is the publisher responsible for this site. Historical “Safety Team” and other team bylines identify the collective publisher, not individual professionals with verified credentials. We do not claim specialist review unless the reviewer and their contribution are identified.
How content is prepared
We use AI tools to assist research, drafting, and translation. The newsletter includes automated fact, link, and formatting checks. These checks can miss errors and do not constitute independent professional review. References let readers compare guidance with the original source.
Illustrative examples are labeled. A documented incident should cite its report; figures and rules should identify their source, period, and scope. An updated date records changes to content or metadata, not certification or specialist review.
Scope and use
OSHA and NIOSH references concern the United States. Spanish translations make the same content accessible; they do not adapt regulations to Mexico or another country. Check local rules, manufacturer instructions, and your workplace plan. A talk or calculation does not replace required training or an assessment by a competent person.
Corrections and feedback
Report errors through our contact page. Include the page URL, the statement to review, and the source that contradicts it. When correcting a substantive claim, we update the date and describe the change. Do not act on a recommendation you believe is unsafe while it is being checked.
